Catching up

Happy Valentine's Day! This past weekend Nana came out for a visit and brought my camera back to me!! So I wanted to post some pix that I've had for a little while. Enjoy :)

These are my beautiful flowers from hubby for V-Day!! He claims that he gets them for me every year, but I'm surprised each year! I love them.

Keira being silly

Where'd she go!?

Such a cute princess fairy

Too cute!

She's even got a wand. :)

Daddy & Keira got to ride the carousel together at the Fort Wayne mall. She loved it!!

She wanted to ride the giraffe b/c it didn't go up and down.

:D

Time to play in the snow!

Weellllllll, maybe not. This was the day it took longer to get ready than it did for us to actually be out in the snow. :] Poor thing.

Ok mom, I've had enough. Get me out of here. We attempted a quick pile-up snowman. Just wasn't our day for it. We're getting more snow tonight so who knows! We may have another chance. :)

Baby 2.0 & Granola Bars!

Welp folks, here he is!! I finally took a picture of my belly for y'all to see. Not much to look at just yet, but in just 7 1/2 weeks things could be a different story! April 6th is quickly approaching. I've had successful drs. visits, no complications, and am gaining weight pretty much in proportion to what I did w/ Keira. The little guy is an active one! I can feel him move everywhere. So part of me is thinking that he may come out weighing in bigger than Keira. Guess we'll wait and find out. I feel good - thank you for all the prayers!

Week 30 w/ Keira

Week 32 w/ 2.0

Making granola bars has been a new favorite of mine and little miss helper! She loves them! As do Daddy & I. "First we have to mix 'em mommy!"

"Just keep mixin', just keep mixin' ."

My helper :D

Then once all the ingredients are in, we "push, push, & press, press into the pans." They're suuuuper yummy! Rumor has it they are also sustaining Aunt Chell on her travels. :)

Build-a-Bear Outing

This past weekend Keira was invited to The Build-A-Bear workshop for a birthday party. She absolutely loved it despite the fact that it was pretty crowded. For anyone that has little kids, I TOTALLY recommend this! Jason and I are even considering taking Keira back there when she turns 4 or 5. Keira loved being with the big kids, picking out an animal, naming it, stuffing it...and oh just check out the pix!

Showing off the 'animal skins.' Keira chose a monkey instead of a bear.

Here she is listening intently to the next instructions.

Then it was time to give their animals hearts. They had to rub the heart on their nose (b/c friends always know your secrets), their arms (for lots of hugs), their mouth (for all the kisses they'll receive) and a couple others. It was cute.

Then they played a 'hot potato' sort of game while each kids took their turn stuffing their animal.

Keira LOVED her monkey who she and Daddy decided to call 'George.'

Here Keira is standing with her monkey, who now as you may notice has a pink princess shirt and pink bows. So we now call her 'Georgia.'

Being her cheesy self! She had so much fun and just totally went along with everything the kids were doing.

Here are all the kids. Jacob (with Brown Bear), Lilly (with iCarly), Graecy - the birthday girl (Hearts), Rachel (with Tan) and Keira (with Georgia). The other little guy Nicky, who was Keira's age didn't make the picture. He had a fireman bear he named Boots.

The whole event lasted about an hour. Then we all headed downstairs for lunch and some cupcakes. Such a fun day. Most of you are on facebook and can check out more pictures there. For those of you that aren't, I'll try and get some saved and post in picasa.

January Fun

January has brought lots of snow and this week some ice! School was cancelled both yesterday and today. Who would have thought of that!? Keira and I have tried to get out and play a couple times but balmy temps keep us indoors.
In prep of Baby B #2, Jason and I have decided to practically rearrange every room in our house so that has also kept us busy. "Jason's room" will be switched to the Master, Keira will move into our room and Keira's room will be Baby's room. Pix of that whole process to come!
Here are some updated pix for you all...

Not so sure about these things Mom

Keira asked to have her picture taken. On top of the table. Reading a book.

Nope, not camera shy at all!

Trying on Daddy's ear warmers. "Hey daaaaaaadddyy, look AT Meeee." And she has this voice that she'll say it in that makes it that much more funny. :)

One of Keira's new coats. It fits her so perfectly and she looks super cute in it.

Fun in the tub! She finally has enough hair for a mohawk on top! Tee hee!

Cheese :)
