Build-a-Bear Outing

This past weekend Keira was invited to The Build-A-Bear workshop for a birthday party. She absolutely loved it despite the fact that it was pretty crowded. For anyone that has little kids, I TOTALLY recommend this! Jason and I are even considering taking Keira back there when she turns 4 or 5. Keira loved being with the big kids, picking out an animal, naming it, stuffing it...and oh just check out the pix!

Showing off the 'animal skins.' Keira chose a monkey instead of a bear.

Here she is listening intently to the next instructions.

Then it was time to give their animals hearts. They had to rub the heart on their nose (b/c friends always know your secrets), their arms (for lots of hugs), their mouth (for all the kisses they'll receive) and a couple others. It was cute.

Then they played a 'hot potato' sort of game while each kids took their turn stuffing their animal.

Keira LOVED her monkey who she and Daddy decided to call 'George.'

Here Keira is standing with her monkey, who now as you may notice has a pink princess shirt and pink bows. So we now call her 'Georgia.'

Being her cheesy self! She had so much fun and just totally went along with everything the kids were doing.

Here are all the kids. Jacob (with Brown Bear), Lilly (with iCarly), Graecy - the birthday girl (Hearts), Rachel (with Tan) and Keira (with Georgia). The other little guy Nicky, who was Keira's age didn't make the picture. He had a fireman bear he named Boots.

The whole event lasted about an hour. Then we all headed downstairs for lunch and some cupcakes. Such a fun day. Most of you are on facebook and can check out more pictures there. For those of you that aren't, I'll try and get some saved and post in picasa.
