A Taste of Summer

It has been a whirl-wind of the past few weeks and I'm finally getting a chance to update some pictures. As of Friday, June 17th we are now the proud owner's of a new house! New address is 4523 N. 622 W. Huntington, IN

But before we get to the details of the house, here is what has been happening since my last post.

Out shopping

Moving truck arrives!

Such a fun place to run and play in!

Heritage Days Parade

Hot Air Balloons! We even got to go inside the balloon!

New furniture

Aaah, yes, and pool time! Here's cousin Ainsley loving the water!

Keira too! Our (quickly becoming) little fish!

Fun at Chuck E. Cheese! First time for Keira and she loved the rides :)
As for the house...we are definitely in the beginning stages of feeling settled. The rooms are slowly getting to where they no longer have boxes....we do however still have a storage unit and a friends basement to still unload! HA! This house is huge, with four bedrooms, a finished basement and an in-ground POOL! All outside doors are either extremely hard to open or very noisy so we won't have any children escaping unnoticed for all you protective family members :) I even have a dishwasher and central air! Two things our other house did not have. We feel extremely blessed and excited for our new found space and can't wait to have everyone come see it! As a matter of fact, just stop on by we would love to have any and all! With this much space we would probably be able to fit all of you :) Jason has most of the house pictures on Facebook but I will try and get some put on here as well. Thank you to all who prayed for our house to sell. God is Good!

30 Years

May 31st marked a significant milestone in Jason's life.....the big 3-0!! We had a crazy busy weekend; one filled with family, racing, a fair and a surprise! Mom & Dad Boothman came for a visit along with U. Nate, A. Colette, Annika and Ainsley. We had a house full! Friday night we met M & D at Olive Garden for dinner, went to our neighborhood garage sales Saturday morning, the boys went up to begin their racing that afternoon and the women folk followed by dinner time. The car ride up was interesting with the little ones wailing their heads off while A. Colette, Keira & Annika sang their hearts out to some Disney tunes :) Then Sunday morning was church followed by the Renaissance Fair (which was a really Neat concept! Just not a whole lot of people showed up for it. My favorite part was meeting the queen. We had to be announced and sang a song for her :) The whole court was in full costume and full character!) Some pix can be found Here. Then we had to stall for time until the surprise birthday started...at 5. Jason was clueless. The whole family was in on it. He and his brother went out to grab some frozen pizzas for 'dinner' and to 'help' A. Chell find a router for her internet. By the time they got back...."SURPRISE!!!" Party was complete with a Green Lantern Cake! Such a great end to a fun weekend. :)

Jason also had the past two weeks off of work, which has been GREAT! Today is his first day back...:) We were able to spend lots of quality family time together, which the kids loved and we were also able to take some pix of the kids.

Kanaan's latest bruises. One from a meeting with the sidewalk and the other from the TV stand drawer knob.
Keira loves, loves, loves to run :)
