February finish

So! The photo challenge = epic FAIL!! Ha ha! Maybe I'll try again in a couple months to finish off the challenge. In the meantime our family has gone through a rough couple weeks. I honestly think we all had the flu - or some sort of it. It's taken us since my last post I think to actually feel good. And that's just speaking for myself! No fun folks. So here are some pictures over the last couple weeks as a catch up. They are pretty random & include some from the challenge so just bare with me. :)

Saying 'YES to the Dress!' If you've never seen the show on TLC it's a lot of girliness and fun for mommy & Keira to watch.

Mom & Dad Boothman came for a visit!

Kanaan feeling like one of the big boys working on his truck.

Daddy came in 2nd in the 1,000 lap race in MI. Here's the team :)
Nate, Dad, Chase (cousin) & Jason

More tinkering. Give him a screwdriver and he's set for HOURS!

My model and my first semi-successful sewing project of the year.

Cheeese! Gotta love these close-ups. Can you see the sickness in all of us? HA!

Here's my inspiring person! You can just spend a day with her and know that she has so much imagination and inspiration tucked inside. She can be anything she wants to be someday :)

Nature pic. Notice all the flags in our yard. The utility company has literally invaded our neighborhood. :/ I just hope they're not going to be digging up my yard next!

Something old. Old clothes going to Goodwill!

Keira was so proud of this outfit ensemble that she put together herself! Although she didn't make it out the door in the flip flops.

Old t-shirt! Chell and I are attempting to make a quilt out of our old t-shirts.

My bathroom is nearing completion! Here is a finishing touch! A toilet paper holder! Ha ha!

The sink is coming along. Today (2/28) I finished putting the final coat of polyeurthane on!
Let's hope March brings with it some warm spring weather! These kids are ready to get outside and play :) Tomorrows forecast is 64 degrees and possible rain. We'll take it :)

Your kids are SO cute! I love seeing their little personalities shine through.

The changes in the house are really coming along and looking great. You're doing a great job!

Also, GREAT job on your first sewing project! It feels pretty satisfying doesn't it?
