A Week Off!

Last week Jason took a 'vacation' from work and spent the whole week home with us! It was great having Daddy part of our routine and it was great for Mommy to have an extra pair of hands around the house :)

We went to the library for story time on Tuesday. Daddy had never been but enjoyed listening to all the songs and stories that Keira often comes home singing. Here Kanaan is testing out his climbing skills on the chair. He's quite the climber!

The church hosted a skate night where Keira actually enjoyed getting out there! I kind of felt like Chell and I drug her around the floor, but she said she had fun. We even played the color game and the Cha Cha slide. :)

The highlight of the week was going to Science Central! They had a special 'Kid Zone' specifically for kids 7 and under. Kanaan LOVED the water table. Boats for floating and water for splashing! He came out of there pretty wet. :)

They also had bubbles, a spray tank, fun house mirrors, exploration table where Keira got to see and touch a crab. You can see lots of sea shells and sea stars up in the windowsill that we enjoyed looking at.

And behind the kids here you can see the jungle gym/swirly slide.

So much fun! Kanaan thought he was big man on campus climbing up the ramp and exploring the jungle gym. Made him feel like one of the big kids.

Keira loved the slide too. She would come down several times and go "woo hoo!"

After a fun week we were also able to travel to OH and spend some time with Nana for her spring break too. We had a great time shopping and playing with all the fun toys. Here Kanaan is eating spaghetti!! He was totally double fisting it and got everywhere! We promptly put him in the tub afterwards to wash off all the yumminess.

Keira got ice cream! She did such a great job eating her dinner that ice cream was a great reward.
