This is how we spent our Memorial Day - A Cornhole Tournament!
25 teams and 6 hours worth of playtime. So much fun but we were all exhausted
by the time we got home. Just in time to have half the crew come swimming in our 85
degree pool!

Keira's first year of preschool ended with her 'Alligator' program. She did GREAT!

13.1 Numero 3!

Cinco De Mayo weekend Chelle and I participated in another half marathon race (my third, her fourth). This one took place in Columbus, OH...the 'Cap City Half Marathon!' The weather was slightly overcast and cool. Perfect for a long race. We started out with a great pace and felt good....that is until it just kept going, and going, and going! Mile 10 with just 3 to go is where I hit a wall. Legs cramping, heart racing, head pounding, vision fading... I'm so thankful my sister was there to literally push me through. But we finished!!! In a time of 2:13:41 (my official time - I'll let Chelle post hers :)) Not too bad if ya ask me! Now I think I'll stay on the 5k training path for a little while and just keep on running!

Easter Weekend Part 2

So apparently blogger has changed!! I used to have to upload everything in reverse order....not the case now. Please bare with me and this post as it's totally out of order!! 

With that said a couple weekends ago we were able to go up to MI and spend the rest of the Easter holiday with Jason's family. Mom-Sandi ended up having an emergency appendectomy Easter weekend which kind of put things on hold for her and that side of the family. She is on the mend though! So we went up to help celebrate :)
