Last week we traveled to Campbell's Pumpkin Patch. It was a beautiful fall day, a little windy, but we had a fun time. Corn Maze - Which way Keira? That way? Kanaan says go "up." Keira has these 'dive' sticks that are princesses. She has Ariel, Belle & Cinderella. She absolutely loves to throw them in the pool and swim after them. I have much to be thankful for on this Thursday. Lately the 'winter blues' have seemed to have gotten the better of me. Growing up we, as kids LOVED winter. This year we traveled to Hocking Hills area to a place called Bittersweet Farms. It was a definitely a 'cozy' place for 8 people!! Time to pick pumpkins!! This week Chell was able to stay and visit for a while and so we decided to have some fall fun. We headed out to a place just south of Huntington to pick some pumpkins, and even got a chance to carve them this weekend too. This was the second year we were able to go to Zoombezi Bay! I wondered how Keira would do with the water park again - as you can see - it took her a little bit to get used to it. Our kitchen is coming along nicely! Here is the result of all my hubby's hard work. While I was in NY Jason went to town on painting all the cupboards. He did a great job. Thanks honey! Today our little girl turned 10 months! Hard to believe how big she's getting and how fast time is going. She continues to stand while supported and can move around (walking) while holding on to whatever is near. Her latest joy comes from climbing the stairs! Even if I've put barriers in the way, she finds some way of maneuvering around or under or thru them! Take a look at these pictures taken

A couple weekends ago we spent some time with family and had a blast. We left for Columbus Thursday night after a P&W time at our Church, headed to NY to go camping Friday, back down to PA Saturday and then back home on Monday. This later Saturday we spent some time at Zoombezi Bay which is part of the Columbus Zoo. We had a good time trying out the rides and what not but for Liss and I the most fun we had during the day was watching Keira play in the water. She absolutely loved it! Here it is the end of June and our little one is growing so fast! She began crawling at the end of May and is getting into everything! No magazine, picture frame or video is safe because Keira can not only crawl but she is also very efficient at pulling up on just about everything. The other day I even saw her leaning against the wall just so she could get a better viewpoint of the outlet covers.

So get this, the last three (yes that’s right three) nights Keira has spent THE ENTIRE night in her crib. Now mind you she’s not sleeping totally thru just yet but I’ve only had to get up twice each night to feed her. Cue the Hallelujah chorus! And to top it off she’s woken up in a good mood. Which also puts mommy in a better, more rested mood. Its been really nice. Now its only a matter of time
